Your impact

Core responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and troubleshoot Star CNC Swiss lathes independently.
- Perform tool changes and apply tool-wear offsets to maintain tight tolerances.
- Interpret blueprints, setup sheets, and work instructions to ensure conformance.
- Verify parts using micrometers, calipers, gauges, and optical comparators.
- Execute routine and daily preventative maintenance (P.M.).
- Complete first-piece inspection logs, maintenance logs, and work orders.
- Follow strict quality control, including ID and traceability protocols.
- Maintain a clean, safe, 5S-compliant workspace.
Must-haves
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical credentials are a plus.
- Minimum 1 year of blueprint reading.
- Minimum 1 year of GD&T application and tolerance measurement with micrometers, calipers, and gauges.
- Minimum 1 year operating/setting up CNC machines preferred, not required (training available).
- Detail-oriented problem solver with a quality-first mindset.
