L&W Recruiting, on behalf of a well‑established Mid‑Atlantic law firm, seeks an experienced Insurance Defense Attorney to join its Litigation Defense and Business Law practice in Philadelphia, PA.

• Key responsibilities: Manage a full docket of insurance defense matters from intake through resolution; draft pleadings, motions, discovery, and other court filings; take and defend depositions; handle hearings, mediations, and trials; develop case strategy; communicate with clients, carriers, co‑counsel, and courts; maintain organized files and calendaring.

• Required qualifications: 2–6+ years insurance defense or related civil litigation experience; active Pennsylvania law license; demonstrated motion practice, deposition, and courtroom experience; strong written/verbal communication and case‑management skills.

• Preferred: Experience with coverage or complex defense matters, trial preparation, settlement negotiation, and familiarity with e‑filing and case/document management systems; interest in professional development and partnership track.
