Help orchestrate a world-class factory
Own the rhythm of production for electro-mechanical assemblies. In this role, you’ll collaborate with the Sr. Manager of Operations and the Factory Operations Team to drive schedule adherence, quality, and flow within our ISO9001/AS9100-certified environment.
What you'll own
- Executing the daily build plan alongside Factory Operations.
- Facilitating daily tiered accountability/management to align teams.
- Spotting and clearing value-stream bottlenecks and constraints.
- Tracking KPIs/metrics and coordinating stakeholder "Return to Green" plans.
- Auditing and cycle counting WIP on the shop floor.
- Managing consumables and KANBAN items for uninterrupted production.
- Entering purchase requisitions for supplies, services, and shop needs.
- Ensuring adherence to procedures defined in the Mercury Systems QMS.
- Partnering with QA on preventative maintenance and calibration for tools, equipment, and fixtures.
- Creating and updating process documentation, forms, records, reports.
- Maintaining accurate logs and paperwork in line with company policy.
- Pitching in where needed: inventory stocking, job kitting, assembly, test, inspection, and packaging.
- Supporting RCA/RCCA problem-solving.
- Handling other duties assigned by management.
What you bring
- 1–3 years in manufacturing/assembly/factory operations.
- Experience with ISO9001 and/or AS9100 QMS frameworks.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with MES, ERP, and MRP software.
- Skill in balancing conflicting, changing priorities to meet client deadlines.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing (or the drive to develop it).
- Clear communication and strong interpersonal skills across a diverse workforce.
- Resilience under pressure and ability to multi-task.
- US person status or clearance related requirements.
Preferred extras
- 1+ year leading in manufacturing (Lead/Supervisor/Manager).
- Experience with MRP and factory control tools.
- Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt or Green Belt.
- Knowledge of RCA/RCCA (5 Why's, Fishbone, 8D).
- Knowledge of IPC-610, IPC-620, IPC-JSTD-001.
- Knowledge of Microsoft PowerBI.
- Knowledge of Oracle.
