Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize CNC programs for various aerospace components using CAD/CAM software.
- Set up and operate CNC machines, ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers and production staff to troubleshoot and resolve programming issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of machined parts to ensure compliance with specifications.
- Maintain accurate documentation of programming changes and machine setups.
- Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in CNC technology.
- Train and mentor junior programmers and machinists as needed.
Qualifications
- Proven experience as a CNC Programmer, preferably in the aerospace industry.
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software (e.g., Mastercam, SolidWorks).
- Strong understanding of CNC machining processes and tooling.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in CNC programming is a plus.
