As the Site EHS Compliance and Risk Lead, you will own the Environmental, Health, and Safety strategy for the facility—aligning day-to-day practices with long-term site objectives. You’ll champion a proactive safety culture, ensure adherence to federal, state, local, and corporate requirements, and advance environmental sustainability and reporting efforts.
People Leadership: Direct reports — Yes.
You start your morning walking the floor with operations and maintenance, spotting hazards and discussing controls. Midday, you lead a root-cause analysis on a recent near miss and translate findings into corrective and preventive actions. In the afternoon, you finalize environmental reports and check progress on energy reduction targets before preparing materials for an OSHA-related informal conference under Corporate EHS direction. You close the day mentoring a new EHS Coordinator and reviewing upcoming EHS training schedules.
