E&I Maintenance Technologist
Your mission
Keep operations safe, reliable, and efficient by owning the electrical and instrumentation health of the plant. After training, you’ll move into a 2-2-3 rotating schedule (days and nights) where your impact is immediate: diagnose faults, execute precision repairs, and bring new equipment online—fast.
Pay & schedule
- $38 – $42 per hour, DOE
- 2-2-3 rotation: two on, two off, three on; alternating day/night after training
Core accountabilities
- Model uncompromising safety practices and procedures
- Lead troubleshooting for E&I failures to minimize downtime
- Perform planned maintenance, corrective repairs, installations, and commissioning
- Read/interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, and equipment manuals
- Install conduit, cable, and electrical apparatus to code and standard
- Diagnose and sustain PLCs, motor starters, relays, solenoid valves, flow instruments, motors, circuits, proximity sensors, thermocouples, electric heaters, and VFDs
- Contribute to additional related tasks as needed
Entry requirements
- Successful completion of the Work Keys test is required (tests will be administered as needed)
- Preferred: journeyman electrician and journeyman instrumentation technician experience
Physical readiness
- Lift up to 50 lbs without accommodation
- Climb 15–18 ft straight ladders; navigate 20–30 steps
- Push/pull on rollers or carts
- Perform effectively independently and within a team
