If yes, you might be the Electro‑Mechanical Maintenance Technician we need in Hammond, Indiana. This third‑shift role keeps a fast-paced production operation running at its best. Onboarding starts on first shift. Expect steady work, company-provided tools, and room to grow.

Your impact

  • Restore uptime quickly across industrial machinery and utilities
  • Execute PM and PdM tasks to prevent unplanned downtime
  • Own mechanical diagnosis on conveyors, mixers, pumps, gearboxes, bearings, hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Troubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V: motors, starters, relays, contactors, and VFDs
  • Investigate Allen‑Bradley PLC faults and alarms
  • Use meters, testers, and measurement tools to verify root cause
  • Apply LOTO and all safety standards every time
  • Capture accurate work records and parts usage
  • Collaborate with production to drive reliability and continuous improvement

Must‑haves

  • 5+ years in industrial maintenance
  • Strong mechanical troubleshooting track record
  • Hands-on with 120/208/240/480 VAC systems
  • Allen‑Bradley PLC troubleshooting familiarity
  • Experience with conveyors, mixers, pumps, gearboxes, hydraulics, pneumatics
  • Read and interpret schematics, prints, and manuals
  • Proficient with hand/shop tools and electrical test equipment
  • Demonstrated Lockout/Tagout use
  • Comfort working independently on an off-shift (third shift)

  • Welding/fabrication
  • Forklift certification/experience
  • Scissor lift operation
  • Background in GMP-regulated environments
