A day in this role
- Start your shift reviewing work orders and scheduled maintenance tasks.
- Move quickly from preventive checks to on-the-spot corrective repairs when an issue arises.
- Team up with peers to troubleshoot faults across mechanical, electrical, and control systems.
- Wrap up by updating maintenance logs and sharing process-improvement ideas.
What you’ll do
- Execute routine preventive maintenance and perform repairs on equipment and facility machinery.
- Assist with troubleshooting and diagnosing technical issues to identify root causes.
- Accurately document all maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage.
- Collaborate with teammates to streamline processes and elevate overall efficiency.
- Follow safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe work environment.
- Participate in training and development programs to expand your technical skill set.
- Support fellow technicians and staff as needed to meet operational goals.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical certification preferred.
- Previous experience in a maintenance or technical role is a plus.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
- Comfortable working independently and within a team setting.
- Basic knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems.
- Clear communication skills and strong interpersonal approach.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies.
