Entry-Level CNC Production Technician (Fanuc)

Core responsibilities

  • Follow Cell work instructions and direction from your CNC Trainer/Supervisor covering job steps, safety/environmental practices, and inspection requirements
  • Complete all production and quality paperwork accurately
  • Set up the work area by preparing machines and gages for operation
  • Run parts and verify conformance using the correct gages
  • Deliver quality that meets company and customer specifications
  • Hit or surpass production targets in a high-volume environment
  • Adjust offsets to maintain part specifications
  • Follow the tag procedure without exception
  • Replace and correctly select inserts, including proper radius
  • Maintain Housekeeping, Safety & Environmental standards (recycling, labeling, spills, and related programs)
  • Comply with all applicable Quality and Environmental system requirements
  • Offer continuous improvement ideas for safety, productivity, quality, and housekeeping—submit to your supervisor or HR Box
  • Handle other tasks as directed by your supervisor

What we’re looking for

  • Experience with—or the ability to be trained on—CNC lathes, mills, and broaches
  • Machine shop education from high school or beyond
  • Capability to make offset adjustments
  • Understanding of insert types/radii and proper change-out procedures
  • Confidence using gages: plug, snap, flush pin, go/no-go, and calipers
