Position Overview
We are seeking a Senior AI Software Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable AI-powered applications and backend systems. This role combines expertise in Generative AI, machine learning, backend development, cloud infrastructure, and modern software architecture to build intelligent, production-ready solutions. The ideal candidate has experience integrating Large Language Models (LLMs), developing APIs and microservices, building data pipelines, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and maintain AI-powered applications and scalable backend services.
Build RESTful APIs and microservices using Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
Develop and deploy Generative AI solutions using OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Hugging Face, LangChain, LlamaIndex, CrewAI, or similar frameworks.
Design and implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, AI agents, semantic search, and vector database integrations.
Build and optimize machine learning pipelines for NLP, predictive analytics, classification, and intelligent automation.
Develop data ingestion, ETL, and processing pipelines for structured and unstructured data.
Integrate AI models into production applications while optimizing performance, scalability, and reliability.
Deploy and maintain cloud-native applications using AWS or Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
Optimize databases, APIs, and backend services for performance, security, and scalability.
Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, AI Engineers, and Frontend Developers to deliver end-to-end software solutions.
Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, testing, and Agile development processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field (Master's preferred).
4+ years of experience in software engineering, backend development, AI engineering, or machine learning.
Strong programming experience with Python.
Experience developing scalable backend applications using FastAPI, Flask, Django, or Spring Boot.
Hands-on experience with REST APIs and microservices architecture.
Experience with Large Language Models (LLMs), Prompt Engineering, AI Agents, or RAG architectures.
Experience with machine learning frameworks such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Scikit-learn.
Strong knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, MySQL, Redis, Snowflake).
Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, Git, and cloud platforms (AWS and/or Azure).
Familiarity with asynchronous processing, distributed systems, and event-driven architectures.
