Software Development Sales Representative
Location: - Vadodara (US shift)
We are seeking a dynamic and results-oriented Sales Representative to join our software development team. In this role, you will be responsible for generating new business and selling our software development services to clients. You will work closely with potential customers, understanding their needs and presenting customized solutions to meet their requirements. Your primary goal will be to drive revenue growth by closing sales deals and building long-term relationships with clients.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Generate new leads and prospects through various channels, including cold calling, networking, referrals etc.
● Conduct thorough research and analysis to identify potential clients and understand their business needs and pain points
● Engage in consultative selling by understanding clients' requirements and presenting customized software development solutions to address their challenges
● Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations, demonstrations and proposals to showcase the value and benefits of our software development services
● Collaborate closely with the software development team to ensure a clear understanding of project scope, timelines and technical requirements for accurate proposal creation
● Negotiate contract terms, pricing and licensing agreements to reach mutually beneficial outcomes
● Maintain a robust sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales targets and quotas
● Build and nurture strong relationships with key stakeholders, IT managers and decision-makers
● Provide excellent customer service and support throughout the sales process and act as a point of contact for post-sales inquiries and support
● Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitive landscape and emerging technologies to effectively position our software development services in the market
Qualifications and Skills:
● A minimum of 3 years of experience in software development sales, with a proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
● Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales and Marketing or a related field
● Strong understanding of software development methodologies, technologies and industry trends
● Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with clients
● Strong negotiation and closing skills, with the ability to identify and address customer objections and concerns
● Self-motivated and driven to achieve sales goals, with a proactive and results-oriented approach
● Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment
● Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously
● Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales tools to track and manage sales activities and pipeline.
