Project Manager

Change Craft is a Sacramento-based strategic communications firm serving government agencies, nonprofits, businesses, and educational institutions across California. We manage multiple concurrent campaigns for our clients and are seeking a strong Project Manager to own delivery across a portfolio of client accounts. This is a full-time, remote, long-term position based in the Philippines, offering compensation of $1,000 to $1,300 per month.

Unlike a coordinator role, this position carries full end-to-end ownership of projects. You will join client calls, drive account-side project timelines, and hold accountability for delivery. You will work alongside a U.S.-based Agency Operations Director and a small international operations team.

What You'll Do

Project Ownership

  • Own end-to-end delivery on assigned client accounts
  • Develop and maintain project plans in Asana with clear timelines, dependencies, and owners
  • Track budget versus actual on billable hours and flag variances early
  • Lead internal project kickoffs and status meetings
  • Prepare weekly status reports for clients and internal leadership

Cross-Team Coordination

  • Coordinate work across creative, research, PR, media, and account service teams
  • Manage internal review cycles and client approval workflows
  • Escalate risks and blockers with recommended solutions
  • Support scope discussions and change orders as needed

Documentation and Systems

  • Maintain accurate, up-to-date project documentation
  • Contribute to project templates, workflows, and process improvements
  • Support onboarding of new team members onto active projects

Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years of project management experience at a marketing, advertising, PR, digital, or creative agency
  • Proficiency with Asana or a comparable tool such as ClickUp, Monday.com, Wrike, or Basecamp
  • Experience managing project budgets and timelines
  • Experience facilitating client meetings and communication
  • Excellent written and verbal English
  • Ability to work at least 4 hours of overlap with U.S. Pacific Time (typically 6:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. PHT / 3:00 p.m.–11:00 p.m. PT; specific hours to be discussed in the interview)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Google Project Management Certificate, Asana Certified Pro, or PMP certification
  • Experience with public health, government, education, or nonprofit clients
  • Experience managing subcontractors, vendors, or freelancers
  • Experience with Harvest, Toggl, or other time-tracking tools
  • 4+ years of agency project management or account management experience
  • Experience across multi-client agency environments, including process design and budget or timeline recovery

What Success Looks Like

  • Assigned projects deliver on time, on budget, and at high quality
  • Internal team members understand what they need to do and when
  • Risks are identified and escalated before they become client-visible problems
