About the Role:
We are seeking a detail-oriented Website Editor with expertise in WordPress, Elementor, and website customization. The ideal candidate will create, update, and maintain websites using existing templates, custom code (PHP, CSS), and builder tools. This role requires a fast-paced mindset, the ability to multi-task, and a keen eye for detail to ensure sites are optimized for performance and user experience.
Key Responsibilities:
- Create and edit responsive websites using WordPress, Elementor, and existing templates.
- Customize site functionality with PHP and CSS for enhanced performance.
- Ensure consistency and accuracy across multiple pages and sites.
- Collaborate with design, content, and marketing teams for site updates.
- Troubleshoot and resolve website issues (layout, performance, and responsiveness).
- Optimize websites for speed, SEO, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Implement best practices for web development and UX/UI design.
- Maintain website documentation and provide recommendations for improvements.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with WordPress and Elementor.
- Proficiency in PHP, CSS, and HTML.
- Familiarity with website builders and templates.
- Ability to write clean, responsive code that meets web standards.
- Strong understanding of SEO principles and website optimization techniques.
- Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to handle multiple projects.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Must have high-speed internet and be able to work independently in a remote environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with JavaScript and jQuery.
- Knowledge of web accessibility standards.
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Familiarity with web hosting platforms and domain management.
