Position Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Swiss CNC Machinist to set up, operate, and maintain Swiss-style CNC machines, producing high-precision components that meet engineering specifications. The ideal candidate has a keen eye for detail, technical proficiency, and thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining the highest standards of quality and efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and operate Swiss CNC machines according to production requirements.
- Load raw materials and ensure proper alignment and offsets for tooling.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings accurately.
- Make necessary adjustments to CNC programs to maintain strict tolerances.
- Conduct in-process inspections using precision measuring instruments.
- Ensure parts meet dimensional and surface finish specifications.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on machinery.
- Maintain accurate production records and follow safety and quality protocols.
- Collaborate with engineers and quality teams to troubleshoot and resolve production challenges.
