Business Analyst - Healthcare IT

Key Responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders
- Translate business needs into detailed functional specifications for development teams
- Develop and maintain BRDs, FRDs, and user stories
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (QA, development, project management) to ensure deliverables align with requirements
- Evaluate existing processes and recommend improvements, particularly within healthcare IT workflows
- Act as a liaison between clients and internal teams to ensure clear communication and alignment
- Participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, reviews, and UAT sessions
- Create mockups, process flows, and wireframes to support requirement clarity
- Support change management activities and perform impact analysis
- Ensure solutions comply with healthcare regulations and industry standards
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
- 2 to 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within Healthcare IT
- Strong understanding of SDLC and Agile methodologies
- Hands-on experience in developing BRDs, FRDs, and acceptance criteria
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with LIMS platforms is an advantage
- Familiarity with healthcare standards such as HIPAA, HL7, or similar compliance frameworks is a plus
- Relevant certifications (CBAP, CCBA, CSPO, PMI-ACP) are a plus
