Through TekPro, we’re adding two Precision CNC Lathe Specialists to a cutting-edge, air‑conditioned, 150,000 sq. ft. facility producing power transmission components for aerospace and defense. If you own your setups, edit code with confidence, and navigate multiple machine brands with ease, this is where your expertise matters.
Your Impact
- Translate engineering intent into repeatable, capable turning processes using GD&T.
- Execute complete setups on three- and four-jaw chucks, tooling, and attachments.
- Load and position raw material; run first‑article parts and validate to OP drawings and quality plans.
- Maintain process capability across turning, facing, drilling, grooving, knurling, and thread chasing.
- Continuously improve: troubleshoot, adjust offsets, reprogram as needed, and replace worn tooling.
- Document results, communicate across shifts, and uphold strict safety/quality procedures.
- Perform preventive maintenance and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime.
- Advance skills via training and technical publications.
Required Background
- Minimum 2 years operating CNC lathes and mills.
- Ability to read technical mechanical drawings; strong command of GD&T.
- Comfortable with shop math and G‑code edits.
- Strong machine setup capability; multi‑brand experience highly preferred.
Preferred Experience
- DMG/Mori Seiki NT4300/1500 turn/mill.
- Gear manufacturing.
Proficiency & Equipment
- Proficiencies: GD&T, G‑Code, production-run setups.
- Equipment: CNC Lathe (2–4 axis) (Dmg Mori Seiki); CNC Lathe (5+ axis).
