Position Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Real Estate Compliance Coordinator to support brokerage operations and ensure full compliance with US real estate regulations. This role focuses on transaction file review, development and oversight of compliance-related standard operating procedures (SOPs), and serving as a trusted resource for agents and transaction coordinators.

The ideal candidate has strong familiarity with real estate forms, transaction processes, and compliance review standards, and thrives in a high-volume, fast-paced brokerage environment.


Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain availability during regular business hours (Central Time) to respond promptly to agent and staff inquiries regarding compliance and required documentation.

  • Conduct thorough and timely audits of transaction files to ensure accuracy, completeness, and adherence to brokerage policies and regulatory requirements.

  • Provide ongoing guidance and education to agents and transaction coordinators on real estate forms and documentation best practices.

  • Assist in the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of compliance-related SOPs.

  • Monitor compliance workflows for a large agent network, ensuring consistency and quality control across all transaction documentation.

  • Collaborate with leadership and operations teams to identify compliance gaps and recommend process improvements.


Qualifications

  • In-depth understanding of real estate compliance standards, forms, and regulations.

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in real estate compliance, transaction coordination, or brokerage operations.

  • Exceptional attention to detail with strong auditing and organizational skills.

  • Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly explain compliance requirements to agents and staff.

  • Working knowledge of transaction management platforms such as ZipForm, TransactionDesk, Lone Wolf, BackAgent, SkySlope, Dotloop, or comparable systems is strongly preferred.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience supporting high-volume agent networks (100+ agents).

  • Background in process improvement and SOP development.

  • Proficiency with cloud-based file storage and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Dropbox, etc.).
